Bill Burr is on deck to host this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, which of course arrives on the heels of this week’s presidential election results. So of course he and SNL‘s Marcello Hernandez are going to discuss the results in a first promo, right?

Burr and Hernandez do just that in the video above, and frankly it’s hard to tell which of the two is more shocked by the outcome of the election.

Speaking of shockers, Bill then shares with Hernandez a little something he learned form sharing a steam room with (a very hairy) Rudy Giuliani — the identity of the notorious Jeffrey Epstein’s killer!

Both gents are a bit anxious this week, understandably, so Burr hits Hernandez up for anything to help, ahem, “take the edge off.” What all does the SNL player have stashed away in his dressing room? To watch the video above, the DEA might want to pay a visit/raid.

Burr is presiding over SNL’s Nov. 9 installment, marking his second time as host. (Comedian Dave Chappelle hosted SNL‘s post-election episodes in 2016 and 2020, but won’t do so this time.) Indie singer-songwriter Mk.gee will make his debut as musical guest.

Looking further down the road, and fresh off the phenomenon that was Brat Summer, pop songstress Charli XCX will pull double duty on Nov. 16, serving as SNL host (for the first time) and musical guest (for the third time).

Thus far, SNL has welcomed Jean Smart, Nate Bargatze, Ariana Grande and Michael Keaton as hosts for its milestone 50th season. Next up is comedian and former SNL scribe John Mulaney, who’ll emcee the Nov. 2 episode; pop superstar Chappell Roan will perform.
