‘SNL’ Rewrites Chappell Roan’s “Hot To Go” In Baby Shower Sketch With Charli XCX
After welcoming her to the show a few weeks ago, Saturday Night Live gave a nod to Chappell Roan with the help of another pop princess.
Host Charli XCX — along with cast members Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim and Sarah Sherman — performed a baby shower-themed version of the singer’s “Hot to Go,” about a fling that their best friend and expecting mother (played by Chloe Fineman) had with a man named Domingo during her babymoon, which she took with her friends instead of her husband.

“We get facials at the spa, but Kelsey doesn’t talk at all,” they sing. “We say, ‘Kelsey get off your phone,’ cause we know who she’s texting! We know who she’s texting! D-O-M-I-N-G-O.'”
Naturally, the expecting father is quite unnerved to hear his wife’s friends singing about how she may or may not have cheated on him just a few months ago. So, imagine his surprise, shock and horror when he makes an appearance at the baby shower to help the women finish the song.
This was a followup to the viral Bridesmaid Speech sketch from a month ago when then-host Ariana Grande and the same SNL cast members revealed in a song — a take on Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” — that Kelsey had cheated on Matt with Domingo during the girls’ bachelorette trip.
