Snoop Dogg And Al Roker Predict “Above Average Highs” In Weed-Themed Weather Report
Snoop Dogg added a new skill to his lengthy resume, as he took over weather reporting duties with Al Roker on the TODAY show. Last week, the California rapper guested on the daily news broadcast, cohosting with anchors Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.
Al Roker, the weather and feature anchor on TODAY, prepared a segment with Snoop Dogg in mind.
“Snoop, we’ve prepared a special map,” explained Roker. “All you gotta do: touch the map, and you’ll see some special Snoop cities.” After the rapper puts his finger on the screen, places across the country with names that correlate with weed and cannabis terminology are highlighted. The map emphasized “above average highs” and “moderate air quality.”
With ease, the “Who Am I” rhymer laid out the predicted forecast
“Al, it’s 57 degrees in Mary Jane Falls Nevada? “And then I heard it was going to be 56 degrees in Stoner, Colorado,” detailed the chart-topper. “But my favorite is when it’s nice, hot, and misty outside. 84 degrees in Blunt, South Dakota. Sliding on down to this area right here, above the average highs, 70 degrees in Roach, Missouri. And over here, we stay lucky in Kentucky. It’s gonna be 60 degrees in Blaze, Kentucky.”
He continued, “Over here we’ve got Pottsville, Pennsylvania where it’ll be 60 degrees, and down low on the go, 61 degrees at High Point — get that — High Point, North Carolina.
“That’s the best one we’ve ever had!” Roker laughed. “That’s what’s going on around the country — actually, Snoop’s country.”
During his time on TODAY With Hoda and Jenna, Snoop Dogg sat down to discuss real life. In Hoda And Jenna’s Social Dilemmas, the trio discussed family dynamics, with the rapper dishing out some elder advice to another grandparent whose son believed they are not strict with the grandchildren.
“Well, I am a grandfather so Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack when the parents are out of town, the kids can do whatever they want to do with grandpa and grandma,” Snoop advised per TODAY. “So grandma, grandpa, keep bending the rules for your grandbabies because they’re going to love you forever, they’re going to always share secrets with you and they’re going to feel like they have a safe space with you.”
He continued, “Let the parents keep being those mean, wall-putting up barriers,” adding, “You don’t have any barriers; you’re grandma and grandpa!”
