Snoop Dogg, Allen Iverson Attend 2024 Harold and Carole Pump Foundation Gala
Last Friday (Aug. 16), the Harold and Carole Pump Foundation (H&CPF) hosted their 2024 celebrity dinner in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton, recognizing the hard work accomplished by an esteemed class of honorees and raising funds in the process.
Lifetime Achievement Honorees Allen Iverson, Dominique Wilkins, Rickey Henderson & Lawrence Taylor, and Humanitarian Honorees Dave Gilbert & Michael Triplett were recognized. The gala continued the organization’s efforts in raising funds to help patients and families affected by cancer.
The event was attended by the aforementioned talent, as well as Snoop Dogg — who opened up the event with a DJ Set — Bobby Brown, Glenn Turman, Cedric The Entertainer, and more. During the event, guests enjoyed cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner and the official program.
According to the official website, the Harold & Carole Pump Foundation honors a beloved father who lost his battle with cancer in 2000 and a loving mother who passed away in 2012. Founded by Dana and David Pump, H&CPF has raised more than $9.5 million for the Carole Pump Women’s Center, Harold and Carole Pump Department of Radiation Oncology, and the Leavey Cancer Center at Northridge Medical Center, and other non-profit community charities.
The mission of H&CPF is “to raise funds and create awareness for the treatment and cure of cancer. By engaging the community, sports leaders, and those touched by this disease, financial support is given to the development of cancer treatments, programs, and services, as well as the procurement of advanced medical technology.”
In its work, the Foundation provides free education and cancer screenings through the Harold & Carole Pump Foundation Outreach Program. Learn more about the Harold & Pump Foundation on the official website and take a look below at moments inside the 2024 celebrity dinner.
