Snoop Dogg has been everyone’s uncle and mentor throughout his career. This past weekend, “unc” was properly celebrated as he rang in 53 years of life in a Los Angeles strip club.

This wasn’t your typical “guys’ night out” at a strip club; his Sunday festivities (Oct. 20) were held at Players Club, a venue his wife Shante Broadus opened in May. Her presence didn’t stop the fun either as bottles were popped, money was thrown, and backsides were shaken. Check out footage from the party via TMZ.

Broadus’ grand opening was highlighted by appearances from Tiffany Haddish, Big Boy, Too $hort, and others. She and the Long Beach, Calif., rapper have been married since 1997 and have three children together.

While Snoop Dogg has had a long career full of music, films, and being one of the most popular celebrities ever, he has no intentions of slowing down. The “Sensual Seduction” artist plans to release his next album Missionary, in collaboration with Dr. Dre, and his biopic once he identifies who can do a good job playing him.

“Actually, I’m looking for somebody who can embody the spirit when I was that young, rough around the edges — trying to discover who I was,” he recently told Entertainment Tonight. “And that to me is going to be a phenomenal actor.” The Doggfather announced his biopic in 2022, a significant work coming from his newly purchased Death Row Records and their film division, Death Row Pictures.

The West Coast legend has been busy outside of his music and film ventures as well. He took over as a coach on the 26th season of The Voice this year and was the celebrity ambassador for the 2024 Paris Olympics. At 53, many people would begin to slow down; Snoop continually redefines what it means to be a veteran in entertainment and, somehow, may just be getting started.
