Snoop Dogg Gets Swimming Lesson from Olympian Michael Phelps
Snoop Dogg may just be in the running for the 2028 Summer Olympics, thanks to some training from the legendary Michael Phelps
The two met up to help the rapper learn how to become "fast in ze pool," as seen in a new video posted by NBC, and before they even hit the water Snoop was confident that he had the "wing span" and "lung power" to get things done.
"I do have a swimmer's body," the musician added, moving close to compare his own physique to the 23-time-gold-medalist's. "Look it, our bodies are similar, Mike," he said. "We could be twins."
Eventually, Snoop shed his American-themed bathrobe and warmed up with a few stretches before the Olympian began working on his form. Once he hit the water, it was clear Snoop had speed going for him, but, unfortunately, keeping in a straight line was not his forte.
"Swimming's tough, huh?" Phelps asked as the rapper wiped the water from his eyes.
"It is," he admitted before Phelps gave him a more complete demonstration in the ornate pool.

When the two finally took each other on in a race, Snoop seemed more prepared, reaching the opposite end of the pool at about the same time as his professional mentor. "I made it!" he celebrated, high-fiving the swimmer.
"Mike, you make this look too easy," he later lamented as he wiped his face on a towel.
"As you see, I am in gold medal condition," Snoop joked through labored breaths, smiling widely as he complimented Phelps, too. "And he's still in gold medal condition!"
Snoop ended their session by sending a shoutout to Phelps' family, as well as "the team that's going to give me some oxygen right now," which left his partner laughing at his side.
Snoop has been all in during this year's games, trying his hand at fencing, too, and serving as the ultimate hype man as he watched gymnast Jordan Chiles compete alongside the athlete's parents.
With more than a week left in the competition, we can't wait to see what he gets into next.
