Snoop Dogg Narrating a YouTube Star's Makeup Tutorial Is the Best Thing You'll Watch Today
Snoop Dogg is the makeup guru you never thought you needed.
The rapper, 47, teamed up with popular YouTube star and Marc Jacobs Beauty Global Artistry Ambassador Nikkie de Jager (best known as Nikkie Tutorials) to narrate her full-coverage glam routine in a hilarious tutorial that will make your day. As Nikkie did her makeup while testing out Marc Jacobs Beauty’s new Beauty Accomplice Concealer & Touch-up Stick and Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder. “And since they’re called Accomplice, I need an accomplice to help me out a bit,” said Nikkie. This is where Snoop came in. “Hit it Snoop!”
Instead of Nikkie’s usual voice over which walks through each step in the video, Snoop provides an epic narration to the tutorial. First, Nikkie squirts some primer on the back of her hand and blends it into her face to prep her skin.
“Put a little bit of that cream on that brisnush,” Snoop says, referencing her makeup brush using his own terminology. “And rub it in there. That’s not foundation. That’s like, I guess it’s the roots. I guess you would call it roots, because now she’s about to lay down the foundation.”

Next she taps on the foundation (“Tap it on real nice,” Snoop says) with the rapper noting, “You don’t even have to be even! Just tap it on there cause it’s going to come together all nicely!”
She grabs Marc Jacobs Beauty’s new concealer and “doubles up” under the eyes for added coverage. “You know that you gotta double up,” Snoop says. “Go up under the eye with it. Yeah right up under there. There ya go.”
Snoop explains that when blending, the amount of pressure you use while tapping in the product is key. “You see how she’s applying it? She’s not putting too much pressure on there. She’s putting just enough because she knows that it’s going to even out,” he says.
After concealer, she brushes a small amount of the new Marc Jacobs Beauty powder. Snoop instructs her saying, “Lightly Nikkie, lightly,” as she taps it under the eye area. “Notice how her face structure is so profoundly correct with the brush. It just fits the brush properly, as if the brush was made for her face,” he says.
As she works on her smoky eye look, Snoop can’t help but be impressed by Nikkie’s skills. “This is like a painting by Picasso,” he says. “The way you’re moving that brush, I like that.”
