Sophie Turner‘s new series is kicking off the weekend after a last-minute schedule adjustment.

After premiering this Wednesday in the US, The CW has moved the Anna Symon-created true crime drama Joan to Fridays at 9pm ET starting Oct. 11, switching time slots with Inside the NFL.

More from Deadline

The six-part limited series stars Turner as Joan ‘The Godmother’ Hannington, a devoted mother trapped in a violent relationship who seizes the opportunity to create a new life for herself and her daughter when her husband goes on the run. They adopt new identities and Joan soon becomes a master jewel thief, embarking on a high-stakes journey driven by the desire to care for her daughter and create a secure home for them both.
