Soulja Boy Insists There’s No “Beef” Between Him And Drake Following Outburst Over “Super Soak”

After Soulja Boy made it his business to let Drake know that he doesn’t appreciate him mentioning his popularized phrases “S.O.D.” and “Super Soak” in a song, he’s now clarified that they’re all good.

TMZ caught up with the “Crank That” legend on his birthday and asked him about his feud with the 6 God, to which he also showed off his new Tesla Cybertruck.

“I got to the bottom of that and I holla’d at Drake and them and it wasn’t no diss,” he clarified. “That song was a snippet, that was a leak. That song wasn’t even supposed to come out. That’s Lil Yachty song, but shout out to the boy Drake.”

Fresh from performing at Sea World, Soulja also shared that he’ll be the “first rapper” to make his own brand of car, which he’d name Soulja Cars.

He added that he’d be interested in collaborating with Elon Musk, if he’d be interested in sharing the wealth.

The almost-beef between Soulja and Drake began when Kai Cenat previewed a “new” Drake and Lil Yachty collab during a Twitch live stream. A line in particular drove many fans to believe that Drizzy was taking shots at Soulja Boy.

“I’m watching the moves, playin’ it close/ SOD, super soak,” Drake raps, which references Soulja’s SODMG label and a line from his hit song, “Crank Dat.”

In response, the Atlanta rapper sounded off on the OVO boss, saying, “Drake, you up here talkin’ about some S.O.D. super soak. Stop playin wit me, boy. That better be a f**king shout out, ni**a. You better keep that sh*t light, my boy.”

He then asserted, “This your first and only warning. This not gon’ be the best idea for you, family.”

Drake has yet to respond to Soulja, but clearly there’s no need.
