South Korea's Olympic shooter Kim Yeji’s ‘aura’ is the real winner at the Summer Games

It’s a hoot to watch Kim Yeji shoot.

The South Korean shooter has won over the internet with her casually cool demeanor during the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Kim won silver in the women's 10m air pistol on July 28, while teammate and roommate Oh Ye Jin snagged the gold medal, with both topping the old Olympic record.

A photo of Kim during the competition has gone viral, fascinating users on X who are in awe of her look, vibe and general all-around presence.

Kim set the world record in the 25m at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan, in May. A clip in Korean, from that event, posted July 29, has generated over 9 million views.
