Coli, Leder and Kaplan executive produce. Kevin Marco is the creative executive for Kapital Entertainment. A rep for Netflix declined comment.

Finding faith/spiritually-based scripted series has been a goal for Netflix, whose model is built on offering programming for every segment of its worldwide audience. Additionally, the streamer has been expanding into original procedural dramas, starting with the upcoming Pulse, its first medical procedural.

Coli served as executive producer and showrunner on the last two seasons of D.J. Nash/Kapital’s ABC series A Million Little Things and as co-executive producer on another ABC drama, The Baker & The Beauty. His resume also includes stints as a writer/executive producer on Facebook Watch’s Sorry For Your Loss and NBC’s The Village and writer on the TV movie Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance. He is repped by IAG and attorney Melissa Rogal at Lichter Grossman Nichols.

Named twice by Newsweek as one the ten most influential rabbis in America, Leder — a self-described “Jew who likes to fish” — is the Senior Rabbi of Wilshire Boulevard Temple in Los Angeles. He is the author of five books, with the most recent, the 2022 For You When I Am Gone, becoming a New York Times Bestseller. The Netflix project is part of a focus on storytelling for Leder who is a regular guest on Today, CNN, and Spectrum 1 News and writes a monthly column for Woman’s Day magazine alongside speaking engagements. He is repped by WME.
