Stagecoach 2024: Dasha, The Chainsmokers, Marshmello added to Diplo's Honkytonk lineup
It's not a music festival without a couple of surprises, and Stagecoach just announced a few for country music fans hoping to hear some DJ sets — and an emerging country artist who recently blew up on TikTok.
Diplo's HonkyTonk, a tent dedicated to electronic dance and pop music, will now see special appearances by singer Dasha, electronic duo The Chainsmokers and DJ Marshmello.
Dasha is best known for her recent smash hit "Austin," an upbeat pop-country song with its own choreographed line dance that took TikTok by storm (the song has been used as sound on 758.2K TikToks).
The Chainsmokers, which has five Top 5 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, is best known for "Something Just Like This" featuring Coldplay, "Closer" featuring Halsey and "Don't Let Me Down" featuring Daya.
Marshmello, who has three Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, is best known for "Happier" with Bastille, "Friends" with Anne-Marie and "Silence" with Khalid.
Their sets are scheduled for:
Dasha: 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, along with Dillon Francis and Ship Wrek
The Chainsmokers: 5:45-6:30 p.m. Saturday
Marshmello: 5:45-6:30 p.m. Sunday, along with Diplo
These surprise artists might even bring out a few guests of their own. The Chainsmokers have a collaboration with country singer Kelsea Ballerini on the song "This Feeling," and Marshmello has worked with a number of artists over the years, including previous Stagecoach headliner Kane Brown for "One Things Right."
Other DJs who will be getting the crowd dancing at Stagecoach in Diplo's Honkytonk include Alana Grace, DJ Famous Dave, Brandi Cyrus (yes, Miley Cyrus' sister), Vavo and others.
Stagecoach returns to Indio this weekend with headliners Eric Church, Miranda Lambert and Morgan Wallen.
