Stanley Unveils 2 Target-Exclusive Tumblers Inspired by 'Wicked'
People who enjoy collecting Stanley products will be excited to learn that two new tumblers are arriving soon at Target—and both are inspired by one of the most anticipated movie events of the fall.
As Markie_Devo revealed in an Instagram post on Friday, Oct. 4, the Stanley tumblers hitting shelves soon are Target exclusives. One will be pink and the other will be green in tribute to Wicked, the musical movie expected out in theaters on Nov. 22.

The pink tumbler, which is intended to be a nod to the Glinda character played by Ariana Grande, is hot pink all over, with a matching straw and a slightly darker pink top. The surface of the green tumbler, which serves as a nod to Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba character, is mostly a rich forest green but fades into black near the bottom. The Elphaba tumbler features a gray straw and black top.
Both items will be available in two sizes, with the 20-ounce tumbler priced at $35 and the 40-ounce priced at $55. While both items are already listed on Target’s website, they are not expected to be available for purchase until Oct. 13. On that day, customers will be able to purchase them in stores and online, according to Markie_Devo.
Fans were divided in their reactions to the forthcoming Stanleys on social media, with some indicating an eagerness to purchase the items while others felt the designs were lacking.
“Love wicked, can’t wait! Target is going all out with their collab,” one Instagram user wrote as another agreed the “green Stanley is kinda fire ????????” and joked about needing more room to store their growing collection.
“Need the Elphaba one in my hands like asap,” one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter, when additional preview images of the tumblers were shared on the social media platform.
“I neeeeed the green one,” another X user echoed as one person promised, “WE WILL BE BUYING.”
Despite the excitement, some Stanley fans began questioning the designs, with one person tweeting, “there’s no engraving or anything?”
“I was expecting so much more from them,” one X user wrote as another dubbed the tumblers “Boring and sloppy.”
“These are so basic,” one person tweeted while another wrote, "don’t get me wrong they are cute but nothing about them is wicked besides the colors they should’ve done some design or somethin.”
Stanley’s Target exclusive is a small part of the retailer’s larger Wicked collection, which is slated to include more than 150 products inspired by the movie. Like the Stanley tumblers, about 70 percent of that collection will be sold only at Target, the company announced earlier this week.
