Star Wars, Harry Potter, X-Men ’97 stars among guests at Nickel City Comic Con this weekend
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Nickel City Comic Con is slated to start Friday at 3 p.m. and will include a slew of icons from TV, film, sports, comics and more. The event will run 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Celebrity guests scheduled to appear this year include Ray Park (Star Wars), Josh Herdman (Harry Potter), WWE legends including Mick Foley and Sgt. Slaughter, Dean Cain (Lois & Clark) and Chandler Riggs (The Walking Dead), as well as the casts of Dukes of Hazzard, X-Men ’97 and Trailer Park Boys. The event will feature over 50 celebrity guests who will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans. The full list can be seen at this link.
In addition to TV and movie guests, the event will feature comic writers and illustrators Michael Golden, Howard Chaykin, Arthur Suydam and Jason Aaron.
Nickel City Comic Con will also feature a cosplay contest, with over $1,000 in prizes.
