'Star Wars Rebels' sneak peek: Sabine's past comes back to haunt her

Things got bad last season for the Alliance and, as Star Wars Rebels heads into its final season, it’s only going to get worse. Sabine’s past comes back to haunt everyone in this exclusive clip from Monday’s hour-long Season 4 premiere. She and Ezra find themselves surrounded by Mandalorians with weapons drawn and more than one reason to distrust her.

Before she joined Kanan’s crew, Sabine helped design weapons for the Empire while at the Imperial Academy in hopes that they would be used for peace. Once she realized that giving weapons to the Empire is never a good idea, she began the journey that would lead her to Ghost. But it looks like one of her designs now threatens Mandalore and she’s caught between Imperials and the rival clans of her own people.

Sabine still holds the Darksaber, which was once a powerful symbol of unification on Mandalore. Will it be enough to end the civil war? Will it even matter with the might of the Empire waiting to reclaim the planet?

Star Wars Rebels Season 4 returns Monday, Oct. 16 with five airings of the one-hour episode “Heroes of Mandalore: Parts One and Two” throughout the day (12:30 a.m., 3 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 5:30 p.m., and 9 p.m.) on Disney XD.
