Star Wars Tales of the Empire: Barriss Offee and Fourth Sister Come Face To Face in New Clip
Star Wars Day is fast approaching, and Disney+ will celebrate by dropping Star Wars: Tales of the Empire, a six-part mini-series of original shorts that journey into the fearsome Galactic Empire through the eyes of two warriors on divergent paths.
Created by Dave Filoni, Star Wars: Tales of the Empire features the voices of Diana Lee Inosanto, Meredith Salenger, Rya Kihlstedt, Wing T. Chao, Lars Mikkelsen, Jason Isaacs and Matthew Wood.
The official synopsis from Disney+ reveals: "After losing everything, young Morgan Elsbeth navigates the expanding Imperial world toward a path of vengeance, while former Jedi Barriss Offee does what she must to survive a rapidly changing galaxy. The choices they make will define their destinies."
Ahead of its May 4 release, Star Wars has shared an all-new clip from the series, which features Meredith Salenger as Barriss Offee and Rya Kihlstedt as Lyn, aka Fourth Sister.
The two meet face-to-face as Barriss Offee has been imprisoned for "crimes against the Republic", where we learn that the Jedi was responsible for attempting to assassinate Chancellor Palpatine.
What does that mean for Barriss? That question remains unanswered as the one-minute clip comes to a sharp close.
