Star-studded Jazz at Lincoln Center will stream for free during coronavirus pandemic
If you’re looking for a break from self-isolation, Jazz at Lincoln Center has got you covered.
The world-renowned institution announced that fans around the world can stream its annual gala live, for free, for the first time ever.
Fans can catch the show at 7:30PM ET on Wednesday, April 15th on the Jazz at Lincoln Center site, Facebook, YouTube and Livestream.
The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will welcome artists from Brazil, Pakistan, Japan, Russia and others for a “global experience” that Jazz at Lincoln Center says will “bring us all together to uplift and encourage us with the wisdom and insights of major artists who have represented and elevated their respective cultures for decades.”
Board member Clarence Otis and his wife Jacqueline L. Bradley will also be presented with the Ed Bradley Award for Leadership in Jazz, and legendary radio DJ Phil Schaap will be honored with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Award for Artistic Excellence.
