After years of being a dog man, Steve Austin is now a cat dad.

The Texas Rattlesnake was iconic, and one of the most fierce wrestlers in the world during his peak. His battles with Vince McMahon, The Rock and Triple H were legendary, cementing him as an all-time great WWE superstar.

However, he has mellowed since retirement. Steve Austin has always had animals on his Broken Skull Ranch, which included dogs. Hershey the Wonder Dog was a fixture of his “Steve Austin Show” podcast, although she passed away some years ago.

Since then, Stone Cold has swapped canines for felines. In a recent pair of Instagram posts, he welcomed the two newest members of his family – two cats!

The former WWE Champion introduced Macho and Pancho as his newest pets. Pancho is an older cat, while Macho is a six-week-old kitten who is just getting used to his new surroundings.

Steve Austin named Macho for “Macho Man” Randy Savage, one of the all-time great wrestlers, as you would have expected. Austin posted a video of the pair on two separate Instagram posts, introducing his new family members to the world.

Steve Austin wrote: “Introducing Macho. Macho is from a town called Austin, Nevada. Thanks to @huntressdivine for finding him for us. Pancho is already getting used to him, although he is letting him know who the boss is. With Pancho mentoring him, He should be a helluva cat. He certainly has a lot of personality. And is not afraid of anything. He is about 6ish weeks old.”

In his second post, which showcased Pancho, he added: “Pancho check in. Tough times at the Broken Skull Ranch.”
