Still 'tipsy' Kevin Hart makes light of embarrassing night at Super Bowl: 'Who gives a s***? Fly, Eagles, fly'

Kevin Hart is a meme today after a series of unfortunate events at Sunday’s Super Bowl, but he’s certainly not crying about it.

On Monday, the Jumanji star, 38, posted a video to Instagram that was taken after a security guard blocked him from going onstage, a clip that went viral, after his hometown Philadelphia Eagles beat the New England Patriots in the big game. The actor — and father of three — was “still tipsy” while giving his funny take on the situation, but he also urged kids not to drink because they do “dumb stuff.”

“Me trying to go onstage with the trophy definitely one of the top two stupidest things I’ve ever done,” he said from a car filled with people. Then he quickly continued, “Who cares? The Eagles won the Super Bowl. Yeah, I’m still a little tipsy, but the world can kiss my ass.” (Someone interjected to ask where his socks were. He shot back, “Shut up, b****, I don’t got socks on cause I’m tipsy.”)

Hart went on to say that his wife, who gave birth to their son Kenzo in November, “was the first one to say, ‘Babe, don’t go there.’” He replied that he told her to “‘Chill out. I gotta be up there with my city.’”

His friend asked: How did that work out? Hart laughed and said, “It didn’t work out good.”

Speaking about the security guard who shut him down, Hart said, “The man did his job. He said, ‘Kevin Hart, I know who you are, but you can’t be up here.’ I said, ‘Hell if I care.’ I went to walk, he put his hand on my chest.”

When his friend asked what happened next, he said, “Who gives a s***. Go, Eagles. Fly, Eagles, fly! F*** it.”

Then he quipped of the security guard, “No, he was firm.”

Hart was on the field after the game when he decided to follow the crowd onstage during the Super Bowl trophy presentation. As our friends at Yahoo Sports explained, Darrell Green was bringing the iconic Lombardi Trophy up to the stage, when cameras caught an NFL security guard denying Hart from trying to get up there during the celebration. And, the ultimate rejection, Green even gave Hart a little shove to get him out of the way. Hart’s attempts were fully shut down.

Shortly before, Hart also embarrassed himself when he crashed the NFL Network set during postgame interviews. After announcing that he had “been drinking” after “starting the celebration early,” he dropped an F bomb and then scurried off the set.

While this whole football thing has been described as embarrassing for Hart, the social media lover telling his side makes it a lot more humorous. And let’s not forget — the guy has been in much more embarrassing situations … and not that long ago.
