See (and print) pages from the new 'Stranger Things' coloring book: Eddie makes devil horns, Max jams out with headphones, Eleven taps into her powers and more (exclusive)
Seventy-six black-and-white images depict the Hawkins gang as audiences saw them in Season 4.
Stranger Things has officially been a phenomenon since it debuted in 2016, with perhaps no greater indicator than the fact that it’s inspired more merchandise than any of us could ever buy, from T-shirts and action figures to keychains, socks, sneakers, backpacks and so much more. The latest product available for diehards is the official coloring book from Season 4.
Below, Yahoo Entertainment can exclusively debut several images from the fun Stranger Things: The Official Coloring Book, Season 4, which fans can print out — click on each image for a larger version — and color while they wait for the fifth and final season of the Netflix sci-fi drama to drop. (The gang's newest high-stakes adventures had been projected to return to the streamer in 2024, but the dual Hollywood strikes mean that it hasn't even filmed yet.)
This coloring book depicts the residents of Hawkins, Indiana — Eddie, Max, Eleven, Will and all the rest — in their element.
There are 76 images in all, but here's a sneak peek:
Eddie Munson (British actor Joseph Quinn) is in all his '80s wannabe rock star glory, from the long, poufy hair to the denim jacket to the skull T-shirt, with his hands behind his ears to make devil horns, a nod to the fact Munson has been accused of murdering cheerleader Chrissy (Grace Van Dien) and leading a satanic cult.
Sadie Sink's character Max Mayfield, meanwhile, is listening to her retro headphones, as she often does. The track is probably "Running Up That Hill," Kate Bush's 1985 bop that the show used for Max's favorite song, propelling it into new heights in 2022, according to Billboard.
In another memorable scene, Max is captured floating above her love interest Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and friends Steve (Joe Keery) and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) in the cemetery.
Friends Will (Noah Schnapp) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard), who's the subject of his crush, are pictured deep in conversation. Schnapp confirmed to Variety in July 2022 that Will "is gay and he does love Mike." Show co-creator Ross Duffer told the same publication that Will would be the center of the show's story in its last season. "This emotional arc for him is what we feel is going to hopefully tie the whole series together," Duffer said. "Will is used to being the young one, the introverted one, the one that's being protected. So part of his journey, it's not just sexuality — it's Will coming into his own as a young man."
Big bad Vecna, who's played by Jamie Campbell Bower, is the scariest character to come out of the Upside Down, and he's captured here in a terrifying pose. The former Henry Creel (aka One) is Eleven's nemesis.
A Stranger Things coloring book just wouldn't be complete without an image of Eleven in all her power, fighting for her friends.
Stranger Things: The Official Coloring Book, Season 4 is available for preorder now before its release on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
