The musician also wore a pair of orange leather trousers from the brand and a small spiked black choker.
Hyujin got to see Donatella Versace’s collection of clashing prints and colors that harked back to the ‘90s, WWD’s Booth Moore reported in a review. “The spring 1997 Versus collection, from Versace’s now-defunct younger diffusion line, was a reference for the clashing colors and prints, slinky slips and shiny satin.”
The show appearance comes amidst the Stray Kids global dominATE tour. For that, which will see the South Korean boy band hit countries like Australia, Thailand, Japan and Indonesia, Hyunjin selected four custom looks designed by Donatella Versace for his solo performances.
Earlier this year, in February the Versace ambassador attended the brand’s show. Wearing a black suit, that was his first time coming to Milan Fashion Week. Prior to that, he attended the 2023 Versace show that was a collaboration with Dua Lipa in Cannes, France. Later that year he became the first Korean star to become a global ambassador for the brand.
?? “I am delighted Hyunjin is joining the Versace family. I am constantly inspired by new voices defining culture around the world and for me Hyunjin has great new energy and creativity. I love his confidence and freedom of expression. He is a true Versace man,” Donatella Versace, the brand’s chief creative officer, said at the time.
Hyujin went on to front the company’s 2023 holiday campaign. The rapper and dancer was also announced as an ambassador for Cartier earlier this month.
Stray Kids was formed in 2017 through the namesake reality show by JYP Entertainment. Originally a nine-member group, Woojin left the group for personal reasons in October 2019. Its members are increasingly ingratiating themselves into the global fashion conversation. After appearing in the Tommy Hilfiger spring 2024 campaign, the group attended the Met Gala with the American brand. That appearance made them the primary driver of social media engagement for the evening.
