When to Stream ‘The Curse,’ A24’s Dark Satire Series Starring Emma Stone and Nathan Fielder
Emma Stone and Nathan Fielder play a married couple who aspire to HGTV stardom while trying to conceive a child and facing a supposed hex in The Curse, a limited dark comedy series co-created by Fielder and Benny Safdie. Called an “exhilarating, exhausting cringe comedy” by The Hollywood Reporter‘s Daniel Feinberg, the A24 and Showtime co-produced show’s first episode is available to stream now on Paramount+ with Showtime, while the series premieres on cable on Showtime this Sunday.

The 10-episode dark comedy series The Curse begins streaming today on Paramount+ with Showtime and premieres on cable this Sunday at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Subsequent episodes will follow the same cadence with each part available to stream first every Friday on Paramount+ with Showtime before airing on Showtime on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The limited series’ finale streams on Jan. 12, 2024, and broadcasts on Jan. 14, 2024.

The Curse: Cast, Series Synopsis
The Curse follows Whitney and Asher Siegel (played by Stone and Fielder), “a newlywed couple struggling to make their vision for eco-living a reality in a small town in New Mexico,” per the show’s logline. Safdie plays Dougie, a producer of a HGTV-like reality show who wants to make their dream home come true. On top of that, the couple is also trying to conceive a child while an alleged curse threatens their relationship.
The comedy series also stars Corbin Bernsen, Constance Shulman, Hikmah Warsame, Dahabo Ahmed, Christopher Calderon, Barkhad Abdi, Gary Farmer and others.
