The Struts 'Pretty Vicious' tour to make a stop at KEMBA Live!

The Struts, whose lead singer, Luke Spiller, has been described as "the musical love child of Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger," are set to play at KEMBA! Live on Aug. 14.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for the show, which also will feature special guest Barns Courtney.

The Struts quickly developed a following in the U.K. after forming in 2012, when they released the song, "I Just Know." The single was followed by a four-track EP featuring a cover of Lorde's "Royals."

The band's first studio album, "Everybody Wants," released in 2014, was well received in the U.K. Their latest album, "Pretty Vicious," came out last November.

The Struts are known for songs including "Could Have Been Me," "Kiss This" and "Body Talks," the last of which was recorded as a solo track and a duet with singer Kesha.
