Sublime, Atmosphere, Goldfinger and more taking over Waterfront Park for San Diego Bayfest
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The lineup for the 2024 San Diego Bayfest music festival was announced this week, featuring headliner Sublime.
San Diego Bayfest is taking over the Waterfront Park on July 20. Tickets went on sale Friday, with general admission, VIP and Platinum VIP tickets available ranging from $75 to $2,999.

Following a Coachella debut, Sublime is headlining the music festival with original band members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, featuring Jakob Nowell, the son of Sublime’s late lead singer Bradley Nowell.
Other bands in the lineup for the 2024 San Diego Bayfest:
Atmosphere, formed in ‘94 as “Urban Atmosphere,” blends live instrumentation with hip hop.
Goldfinger, along with No Doubt, Sublime, and Rancid, Los Angeles quartet Goldfinger helped contribute to a mini-U.S. ska-punk movement in Southern California that reigns supreme to this day.
Barrington Levy, this reggae and dancehall legend rose to fame in the late 70s. Hits like “Here in Your Bedroom” brought him international acclaim, and he continues to tour, captivating audiences worldwide.
Makua Rothman, inspired by Hawaii’s musical heritage, his debut album “Sound Wave” topped the Billboard Reggae charts in 2013.
Kyle Smith is a singer-songwriter, from Ventura, California, performing his own blend of Southern California style Reggae Rock.

The music festival is for adults 21 and older. Gates will be open from 1 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. The festival website says the music will go on rain or shine.
