Suicide Squad footage to be unveiled at MTV Movie Awards
Score one for the bad guys: The stars of Suicide Squad are set to unveil fresh footage from the supervillain-centric film at the MTV Movie Awards, the network announced Friday.
Will Smith (Deadshot), who will already be on hand to receive this year’s Generation Award, will be joined by costars Jared Leto (The Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), and Cara Delevingne (Enchantress) to introduce the sneak peak.
Written and directed by David Ayer (End of Watch, Fury), Suicide Squad centers on a motley crew of bad guys who are forced to carry out a deadly mission for the U.S. government — or else. The film follows the recently released Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in building out Warner Bros’. interconnected movie universe based on DC Comics characters.
The MTV Movie Awards will air April 10, with Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart hosting.
