‘Suits’ Star Patrick J. Adams Says Cast and Creator Are Interested in a Reunion Movie: ‘I Think It Is Possible’
Could “Suits” be a movie? It’s not out of the question, said star Patrick J. Adams during Sunday’s reunion panel at the ATX TV Festival.
Following a retrospective panel with Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill, Amanda Schull, Abigail Spencer and executive Jeff Wachtel, a fan asked if the cast or creators would ever be interested in a reunion movie. While creator Aaron Korsh couldn’t be there — and is working on the spinoff — he’s interested in it, according to Adams.

“I am a person of no power or authority, but obviously, there’s a ‘Suits: LA‘ show that is being made. That is the focus of Aaron, I think he would agree,” Adams, who played Mike Ross on the legal drama, said. “But it’s definitely something he’s interested in doing, in trying to get the band back together. So it depends on a million things if that can happen, but is it possible? I think it is possible.”
When asked if other cast members are interested, Adams replied, “This band member is down,” with Hill also noting that he’d be interested in reprising his role of Alex Williams.
During the panel, the cast also announced that Season 9 of “Suits” will join the first eight seasons on Netflix beginning July 1. Additionally, Rafferty and Adams’ “Sidebar: A Suits Watch Podcast” will be coming soon, during which the stars will view the series for the first time.
“Suits,” produced by UCP, aired on USA Network from 2011-2019, also starred Gabriel Macht, Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle and Gina Torres. When it began streaming on Netflix in 2023, it topped the Netflix charts for multiple weeks, and surpassed 45 billion minutes on Netflix and Peacock combined.
The “Suits: LA” spinoff NBC pilot exists in the same universe, starring Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis and Bryan Greenberg.
