Suki Waterhouse always seems to strike the perfect balance between refined and effortless, and she’s done it again with her latest look.

The singer opted for a baggy leather set while promoting her new double album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, in New York City. True to her past style—which as of this week, includes a cropped black fur jacket and cutout dress—Waterhouse took a fashion risk with a head-to-toe look from the Acne Studios Fall/Winter 2024 collection.

Her effortlessly cool ensemble included a slouchy brown leather jacket with double-breasted pockets, as well as an equally oversized pair of low-waisted pants that flared out at the bottom, disguising the singer’s footwear. An aged finish gave both pieces a vintage feel, with lighter brown areas implying years of wear.

While the outerwear’s large collar was originally styled buttoned-up when it debuted on the runway, Waterhouse went with a more wearable approach, leaving it open to reveal her décolletage. In tune with the leisurely aesthetic of her outfit, she also secured the jacket with a single button, adding to the garment’s baggy fit. A sliver of her midriff peeked out from underneath the top, as her hands barely escaped its long leather sleeves.

Letting the monochromatic ensemble do the talking, Waterhouse did away with accessories, instead choosing to go all in on her glam. She wore her blonde hair in tousled curls with her signature curtain bangs, and added a bit of shimmer with a silver eyeshadow. A coral blush and nude lip gloss rounded out her natural look.

The singer is fresh off the release of her sophomore album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, and opened up about the new record in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “My last album was very much exploring this kind of sadistic relationship that I was spending a lot of time getting over,” she reflected. “And I think this one is like my head is above water … I’m kind of in this new season of life, which feels really exhilarating.”
