Suki Waterhouse Jokes She's 'Probably' Going to Learn 'Everything on How to Raise My Child' on Reddit
The actress and singer welcomed her first baby with fiancé Robert Pattinson earlier this year
Suki Waterhouse is finding some parenting advice from an unlikely resource.
The actress and model, 32, appeared on SiriusXM's Ben +1 show and opened up about how she and fiancé Robert Pattinson prepared to welcome their baby daughter this past March. Waterhouse said that although she didn't consult many parenting books, there are a few websites she's frequenting as a first-time mom.
"I wasn't really leaving the house very much by the end. You know, I didn't really want to be out and about," Waterhouse said. "There was something really, I found really wonderful about that limitation and just like preparing for something, preparing for this complete unknown. I had no idea what to expect. I did not read any bloody books."

Asked if she regrets not preparing more, Waterhouse shared that she didn't really give it a second thought.
"No, not really. I mean, I don't know. Even when I kind of...I mean, Google is a great thing, isn't it?" Waterhouse answered.
"Okay, but Reddit when you have kids, it's like..." she continued. "Reddit in life. Reddit after everything, right? But yeah. That was probably where I'm gonna learn everything on how to raise my child is Reddit."
In July, Waterhouse appeared on The Run-Through with Vogue podcast and chatted about her recent magazine cover, which featured her baby daughter.
In the interview, Waterhouse spoke about how she performed at Coachella shortly after giving birth to her daughter, admitting that she was "in denial" at first.
"I got offered Coachella a long time before I got pregnant. And then when I found out I got pregnant, I remember counting up the months, and I was like, 'Oh no. Oh no,' " Waterhouse recalled.
While she put in a lot of prep work for her Coachella performance, the star again admitted that she and Pattinson didn't prepare much before welcoming their daughter.
"We were both actually just like, let's just be surprised. Let's just see what it's like, and let's be surprised by the whole thing," Waterhouse remembered. "But those first two weeks were absolutely insane. You spend so much time just imagining what it's gonna be like. And I think for me, it just felt like this transition."
"it just feels like this new season that you're stepping into where the biggest thing for me has actually been looking around me and also it's incredibly healing when you look to your own mom," she continued. "And just have this whole other level of understanding, really, truly."
