ST. CLOUD — The Rotary Club of St. has Cloud announced the lineup for the 2024 Summertime by George Concert series in a press release on Thursday.

This year’s theme is “A Toast to Summer” and will feature eight concerts every Wednesday from June 19 to August 14. There will be no concert on July 3.

This year’s lineup includes Mason Dixon Line and The Fabulous Armadillos featuring Collective Unconscious, Pamela McNeil, John King, Fred Savage and The Unbeatables, Shane Martin, Janelle Kendall and the Perfect Storm and the 70's Magic Sunshine Band.

Headliners will perform from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. but each event will start at 5:30 p.m. with opening bands like Pandemic, Sawyer’s Dream, Green Light Night, Radio Nation, and more. For the full lineup and show time details, please visit summertimebygeorge.com/lineup/.

In addition to music, the festival will have food vendors and other attractions at the Middle Town Food Market, before and during the performances. There will be crafts and activities for children at Little Georgetown, provided by nonprofits and SBG sponsors.

Something different about this year’s concert series is that visitors 21 and older can consume alcohol anywhere inside the park after the City of St. Cloud approved the expansion of the two previous beer gardens. For more details on the park boundary, please visit summertimebygeorge.com/parking-park-map/.

While attendees may now consume alcohol anywhere in Lake George Park, outside alcohol is still not permitted. Any alcohol must be purchased from an SBG tavern.

A special beer will be available that was created for the concert series — Shandy by George will be available on tap, alongside other beers and wines at the Eastman and Middle Town Taverns.

“Was started as a way to bring the community together as well as raise awareness of both the Rotary Club's mission and various charity endeavors,” the press release said. “The profits from SBG liquor sales, and other paid experiences during the event, has become an economic engine for other Rotary Club programs, such as the COP House (Community Outpost), Pathways 4 Youth (a homeless youth resource center), Preschool for Success, international water and building projects in the Dominican Republic, and many other significant initiatives.”
