Actors who’ve played him include Jackie Cooper in the Christopher Reeves canon, Frank Langella in Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns, and Laurence Fishburne in Zack Snyder’s movies.
Gunn’s Superman stars David Corenswet in the title role, Rachel Brosnahan as Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Sara Sampaio (Eve Teschmacher), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific), Terence Rosemore (Otis), Anthony Carrigan (Metamorpho), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner) and María Gabriela de Faría (The Engineer).
Pierce starred on HBO’s iconic series The Wire, in addition to the Amazon series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan as James Greer. The actor also starred on Starz’s Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
