Who got eliminated and who went home in Survivor 46 Episode 11?
24-year-old Venus Vafa, originally from Toronto, Ontario, was eliminated on Survivor 46 Episode 11 (My Messy, Sweet Little Friend), which aired on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. The elimination surprised many, including Vafa, as she had found an immunity idol earlier in the episode.
The data analyst was one of the contestants who were actively searching for the artifact and eventually found it under a pile of leaves. In a clever move, she pretended to continue her search, so that the others wouldn’t know that she had found the coveted key to survive the week. Unfortunately for her, she never got the chance to use it, and now, it will once more be hidden somewhere on the island.
Who is left in Survivor Season 46?
After finding the idol, Vafa nearly won the immunity challenge. However, it was 48-year-old Maria Shrime Gonzalez from Dallas, Texas, that ultimately emerged as the winner. Aside from securing the immunity, Gonzalez received a pizza reward, which she shared with 31-year-old Ben Katzman from Miami, Florida, and 29-year-old Quintavius “Q” Burdette from Memphis, Tennessee.
At the tribal council, Vafa became the third consecutive participant to be voted out despite having an immunity idol. The other contestants reportedly wanted to eliminate Q at first, but Vafa made a terrible mistake by implying to 26-year-old Charlie Davis from Boston, Massachusetts, that they might have an immunity idol. This prompted a suspicious Davis to speak to Katzman, leading to Vafa’s elimination.
Only six contestants remain after week 11: 35-year-old Liz Wilcox from Orlando, Florida; 29-year-old Kenzie Petty from Charlotte, North Carolina; Katzman; Davis; Q; and Gonzalez.
