8:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘Survivor’!” In the sixth episode, the three tribes competed in the mergatory challenge, with Kyle, Rachel, Sam, Sierra, Sue, Teeny, and Genevieve winning the feast. Later, Kyle won part two of the challenge, earning a merge buff and the immunity idol. Rome got cocky at camp and spilled everyone’s secrets, which made him a massive target. Heading into tribal council, he believed that Sol was going home, when it reality, it was Rome who was ousted by a 9-2-1 over Andy and Sam. Twelve people remain. Who will be going home tonight?

8:02 p.m. – Upon return to camp as official members of the newly merged tribes, Andy pulled Sol aside to discuss the ballot that was cast against him at what was otherwise a group decision tribal council vote. Sol told Andy that he “did not want to do that” by voting for him, but had to do it because he “genuinely believed” that Rome had an idol and because of their history he had to protect himself. Andy questioned why if he was so confident that Rome had an idol then he was confident he was sending Andy home, so in order to earn Andy’s trust back he disclosed that the Sam was willing to call Andy the “back up.” For Andy that was a shock, but also another “little thing” adding up for him that shows where Sam and Sierra’s true loyalties lie. At that point, Andy decided to shake on a new deal with Sol where they would work together in an alliance and “gun for Gata” in the next votes.

8:07 p.m. – Early the next morning Andy was greeted on the beach by Genevieve in a moment where he was still spiraling over Sam turning on him the night before. Genevieve agreed with him that they need to find a way to “not just be the singles” floating around and build a more formidable alliance that other players are afraid of. Seeing that their two agendas could align, Genevieve believes that they can take back their power and Andy was excited by the prospect of having a “true number one” ally in the game.

8:14 p.m. – Feeling good about “most of the women in this game,” Rachel was someone that aligned with Teeny’s vision of forming an “all women alliance.” They were part of a conversation with Tiyana and Sierra were Tiyana threw out Gabe’s name as a threat that she’s wanting to get out.

8:17 p.m. – For the next immunity challenge, the individual players had to stand on a balance beam while also balancing a ball at the end of a pole while holding the pole over their heads. But instead of straight-forward endurance challenge, Jeff randomly divided the group into two groups of six with the caveat that the one person who wins the challenge will earn immunity for their entire group. That winning group will watch tribal council, but not participate in it and only the other six will vote and be vulnerable to the vote. The person lasting longest in the losing group will have individual immunity and the person voted out will not make the jury. In addition, the winning six players will earn reward in the form of a barbecue back at camp.

8:19 p.m. – In the rock draw, the groups divided as: Genevieve, Sierra, Teeny, Sol, Andy and Sam in one (yellow) group and Rachel, Caroline, Sue, Tiyana, Gabe and Kyle in the other (blue) group.

8:26 p.m. – In the first stage of the challenge, both Andy and Rachel dropped their balls and were eliminated and then in the transition to the second stage both Sierra and Tiyana dropped. In the second stage, Sol dropped and Sue was eliminated in the transition to the third stage, leaving only three still in it from each group. Then, in the transition to the fourth and final stage, Gabe, Caroline and Sam dropped their balls. When Kyle also dropped his ball, the yellow group earned immunity and reward and Kyle became the individual immunity holder as a part of the six that will attend tribal council for the vote.

8:32 p.m. – Instead of returning back to camp where the winners would be enjoying their reward, the losing six went directly to the old Lavo camp where they’d prepare for the tribal council in the evening. In this group of six was all five of the original Tuku tribe members and then Rachel who was alone as the outlying original Gata member.

8:37 p.m. – The main topic at the reward feast was joy that all six of them were guaranteed to see the end of the game as at least a member of the jury. Sam also thought it was an opportunity for the former Gata players to bond with the former Lavo players. Thinking that it was highly likely for Rachel to be sent home from the other group, Sam suggested that the six of them stick together in order to overpower the original Tuku members. Teeny brought up the idea that because the Amulet was played, a new idol or advantage might be in play.

8:41 p.m. – Among the losing group, Rachel was wanting to have time with everyone to see where their heads are at while Gabe was quickly eyeing her as a major threat in the game overall and pointing out that they have an opportunity to get rid of her easily. Gabe warned that Rachel will play her Shot in the Dark and that if they all vote for her and she becomes safe then they will just have to cross that bridge when they get to it. Meanwhile, Tiyana was looking beyond just this vote and pointed out that if the five Tuku come back seeming strong then they will get picked off by the other six one by one. With that in mind, she suggested to Kyle that this is a good chance for them to turn on Gabe.

8:44 p.m. – Tiyana spoke with Rachel about the women’s alliance they brought up earlier and mentioned that she spoke with Kyle about a way for them to save her and vote out Gabe instead. Tiyana said that it “all comes down to Caroline” because they can’t approach Sue with the plan, but they need four votes. Caroline agreed that if they unite as an original tribe then they will definitely be taken out by the other side straight-away.

8:50 p.m. – Back at the reward feast, everyone had their mind on whether or not there was a new advantage in their midst. At a point when everyone was dozing off for a nap, Sol noticed a scroll tucked in one of the bouquets at their feast and was able to sneak it into his pocket without being seen.

8:52 p.m. – Tiyana pulled Caroline for a chat where they “purely brainstormed” the idea of going for Gabe with the added fear that the “five Tuku strong” presence is dangerous for them going forward. Caroline agreed that the other side will come for their tribe, but not for them specifically because they’ll want Kyle and Gabe first. She also said that Rachel is dangerous because she’s holding the other side together and that getting rid of her helps break them apart to be open to working with the two of them.

8:55 p.m. – Hoping to convince Rachel to not use her Shot in the Dark, Gabe went to Rachel with a “plan” to possibly vote Caroline out with them and Kyle giving three votes to Caroline even if it goes to a tie. Rachel wasn’t sure if she should trust what he was saying, but she played it off as if she could and thanked Gabe for giving her hope.

8:57 p.m. – Once he was able to find some alone time, Sol opened his scroll to reveal a Take Your Pick Advantage to send to someone on the other group where they’d get to choose between Safety Without Power or Block a Vote at their tribal council. Sol knew he had a “big decision” in his hands because the obvious option would be to give it to Rachel, but he could also build trust with someone at original Tuku by giving it to one of them instead.

9:04 p.m. – At tribal council, Jeff pointed out the obvious that it would “be easy” for the original five Tuku to take Rachel out, but that they also have an opportunity to access Rachel as a number moving forward instead. Caroline replied that the decision is about “what will hurt my game less.” Rachel blew up any plan the other five would have to “convince” her not to play her Shot in the Dark by attempting to make her feel comfortable and Kyle gave her props for doing her best to find the cracks in their group. Tiyana was the first to openly admit that the five Tuku are “in a pickle” with this vote and that she’s going with her gut. Later, she added an insinuation that she might be wanting to take a big swing and make a big move tonight. Caroline urged everyone to consider that the big moves have to be “smart” in order for them to actually help someone’s game.

9:12 p.m. – When Jeff finally called the group for a vote, Rachel stopped him to explain that “about 20 minutes ago” she found a scroll bequeathed to her that is “only good for tonight.” Reading the advantage, Rachel disclosed the contents to the group and announced that she has the Safety Without Power Advantage to leave tribal council immediately, giving up her right to vote and also protecting her from elimination. Once Rachel left the site, Jeff declared to the Tuku five that they “will be turning on each other.”

9:19 p.m. – Faced with a new reality for the vote, Gabe said that they’re probably rolling back to when they were on a tribe and trying to recall what the plan was if they lost immunity when it was still a three-tribe game. Tiyana didn’t have words to say to Jeff when asked how she’s feeling, reiterating that it “sucks” and that she’s scared about not getting to make jury. She admitted that it’s “very, very possible that it could be me.” Once she stopped speaking, the group got up to whisper privately. In those small conversations, Gabe, Caroline and Sue committed to not breaking from each other and sticking together, leaving them with only Tiyana to vote against since Kyle has immunity. But when Gabe went to Kyle to tell him that Sue will “do whatever we want,” Caroline expressed to Sue and Tiyana that she’s worried about Gabe and they should vote him out. Then, Sue told Gabe that Tiyana said his name while Kyle communicated to Caroline that he thinks Tiyana always tells the truth while “Gabe is a bigger hit.” The players sitting on the sidelines noticed that Caroline looked stressed out.

9:25 p.m. – After the ballots were cast and no one else played an advantage or idol, Jeff read the votes: Gabe, Tiyana, Tiyana, Tiyana. Holding back tears until she was out of the tribal council area, Tiyana left the game silently without speaking a word to any of her former tribe mates.
