“Survivor 47” has reached the midpoint of the merge and now there are only the top eight players left in the game, as we wait for the 11th episode to air on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Since the merge, some contestants have shifted drastically in the rankings, with the perceived big contenders falling off and the long shots having an opportunity to claim victory.

Read on for our “Survivor 47” power rankings, from weakest to strongest, for the five women and three men remaining in the game based on their social standings, and who has the best chance to win the season.

8. Kyle Ostwald
Unfortunately, Kyle might be a ticking clock when it comes to how much longer he can last in the game. He still has Sue gunning for him after Tuku’s first tribal council, which has become public knowledge at this point that Andy is using that to stir the pot and spreading misinformation about him to Sue and Caroline. His saving grace is his immunity wins, which is also what heightens his threat level after claiming his fourth victory in a row. It is all but certain that he will fall victim to being the next vote-out once his streak snaps.

7. Sue Smey
After what was a steady and strategic pre-merge, Sue has dropped down significantly in the rankings and has become a bit of an afterthought, which was not helped in the last episode after being the only one left out of the vote of her close ally, Gabe Ortis. With him gone and Caroline having turned on her, she has more of a rocky path forward. However, she still has her immunity idol that may keep her in the game if she uses it wisely, but she needs to start taking control of situations and votes if she has a shot of winning the game.

6. Caroline Vidmar
It is no accident that all of the remaining Tuku members are the last three on this list, as the tribe seems to be hanging on by a thread since Gabe’s ouster, but Caroline at this very moment seems to be the best position out of the three, having made a move independent of Sue and joining what appears to be an underdog alliance that includes her, Sue, Rachel, Teeny, and Andy. But that could also paint her as a target of maybe being the most expendable now that she has blindsided Sue, not to mention she is the least visible player of the season.

5. Teeny Chirichillo
Once again, Teeny finds themselves on the minority of the votes when it comes to blindside of her Lavo allies, with the latest episode of them breaking off any bond with Genevieve, the last member after she voted out Sol. Despite suffering many hits, they still continue to be a prominent voice for this season, vowing to avenge those blindsides and finding new ways to further themselves in this game. Teeny is the pinnacle of the underdog player and there is no argument that they have a strong social game, but that might not be enough to win as time is running out and they need to take the driver’s seat fast rather than be a passenger.

4. Andy Rueda
Andy continues to prove himself to be a dangerous player after being gravely underestimated by his Gata tribe, taking out members like Anika and Sierra. Now he has reunited himself with Rachel, harkening back to the premiere, and they now look like the key duo to be reckoned with in this game. Lately, Andy has served as the narrator of the season, with the show using special editing flairs to highlight who he considers huge threats that need to be taken out. But Andy and Rachel are also not shown to have the tightest bond and given their history, it is possible one could take out the other. If Andy wins this game, he needs to look outside the box again.

3. Genevieve Mushaluk
There is no target that is rising faster than the one on Genevieve, who just narrowly escaped being the vote-off by the skin of her teeth, not to mention her daring and petty move against Sol. Though she has continued to be socially aware of what is going on in the game, she is taking a lot of risks that may not be necessary and that only raise her profile and tarnish her other close relationships. But despite her confusing move voting out someone who trusted her, she was aware of the dangers it posed and was able to navigate multiple factors that ultimately went her way, proving her quick tenacity and adaptability. There is no question that if she is in the Final 3, she wins easily, but getting there is going to be very tough for her.

2. Sam Phalen
Sam continues to be one of the main characters of this season with his huge presence in this game, but his status is not the same as it was in the pre-merge. What used to be back when he was in control and had strong relationships is no more, and now has spiraled to him bent on stirring up drama, as shown when he used information to cause chaos at tribal council and try to execute an ultimately failed attack on Sue. That said, even though everyone knew he was trying to flip that particular vote, Sam knows where he stands and has been brushed aside for now in lieu of other larger threats, which makes him have more of a path to the Final Tribal Council. If he can start controlling the votes again, he can make his case.

1. Rachel LaMont
Rachel has set herself up nicely since the merge, tentatively reuniting with her former Gata members who previously blindsided her, while also making new allies with the other players, all while possessing an idol. But that does not mean she is not on anybody’s radar, namely Genevieve, which this last episode set up a future rivalry for the future. Even though Rachel did not get her way, she still has the rest of the game to make a move against Genevieve now that everyone is seeing her as a massive threat, and if she uses her idol in a successful strategic way, she is going to be hard to defeat if she makes the Final 3.
