‘Survivor 47’ power rankings for the Top 12 remaining players at the merge
After the united ouster of one of the most dramatic characters of the season, Rome Cooney, “Survivor 47” has reached the merge stage of the game. The three tribes have all come together on one beach as we wait for the seventh episode to air on Wednesday, October 30. Read on for our “Survivor 47” power rankings, from weakest to strongest, for the Top 12 remaining players in the game based on their social standings and who has the best chance to win the season.
12. Tiyana Hallums

Things are not looking too good for Tiyana since she exposed Gabe during the cross-tribal social hour reward, which led to her awkward apology and the latter vowing revenge on her. Aside from that, her suspicion of Sue has been raised now that she discovered more of the red paint that got Sue her idol on Tuku – after she and Caroline caught her with the paint earlier in the game. Though that could give Tiyana leverage over Sue, she does not seem to have a lot of known allies at the moment, so perhaps she could use that to gain some and “paint” Sue as a threat.
11. Rachel LaMont
It is clear that Rachel has an uphill battle after being blindsided by the Gata tribe with the vote that sent her ally Anika Dhar home, so the tribes coalescing together could not have been better timing for her. She also established a bond with Caroline and Teeny at the social hour, so it will be interesting to see where she goes but so far, we have not seen her have any major interactions since the tribes have merged, which might not be too good for her chances.
10. Solomon “Sol” Yi
Probably the happiest moment of Sol’s game thus far was seeing Rome go home after the latter was so confident the former would be the target. That said, he now comes into this merge with his tribe having the least number of members and does not seem to have the best relationship with his other two Lavo members Teeny or Genevieve, so he needs to establish some ironclad alliances soon if he wants to survive in this game.
9. Kyle Ostwald
Another player who was happy to see Rome’s torch get snuffed was Kyle, who was immediately rubbed the wrong way mere moments upon meeting him again (after they shared a journey with Anika). His immunity win in the latest episode solidified Rome’s exit, but he is now in the same place as Sol, where he needs to form new bonds with the other players since he does not look to be on stable ground with Tuku, especially having some friction with Sue, after targeting her in the tribe’s only tribal council.
Sierra has finally chosen a side in her Gata tribe, siding with Sam and Andy when she voted Anika out. However, whispers have been made about her and Sam being a tight duo, and while Sierra is aware of that perception and is giving herself other options, it may come back as a rude awakening to her. Not to mention that Sierra has stated on multiple occasions her distrust with Andy and her keeping him numerous times could bite her back in the same way it did with Rachel.
7. Andy Rueda
That brings us to Andy, who has come a long way since his public meltdown in the premiere of the season. He has shown to have some serious gameplay after luring Rachel and Anika into a false sense of security before voting the latter out, and seems to be in a good position with the tribe. However, that does not exclude him from being on people’s radar as he was the backup vote in the latest episode, which he will not be happy about. It will be exciting to see what he does with that and see what kind of social influence he truly has with everyone as he faces his biggest test.
6. Gabe Ortis
Right now, Gabe is in a majority alliance with Sue and Caroline and seems to be taking things in his own hands, which is a good balance. But there is a sense of egotism on his part, with a strong point on how he underestimates the other players, namely his alliance, and seeing them as pawns. While he is in a nice position in the game, if he continues the overconfidence, that may be his downfall.

Teeny did not have the best pre-merge after being blindsided by both vote-outs of their allies Aysha Welch and Kishan Patel, but as mentioned, they have generated new bonds with Rachel and Caroline as well as had a relationship with Andy over the amulet. It has been shown that they have a strong social game and could easily work their way into a strong majority as an underdog, without being seen as a threat for a while.
One thing we know for sure from Caroline after this last episode is that she is fiercely loyal to Sue after discovering that she has the Tuku idol (even though Sue did not tell her) from the red paint, but promising her that she will keep her secret. She is also playing a good social game developing other relationships that she can pull in. But there is that danger that she could be playing second fiddle to Sue if she does not immediately sense her threat level and could either be eliminated as a casualty or dragged to the end as a goat if she doesn’t start making moves of her own and aligns herself too tight with Sue.
After being practically invisible for the first couple episodes of the season, Genevieve has proven herself to be a prominent, conniving player to the point where fans are comparing her to previous dominant female winners like Parvati Shallow and Kim Spradlin. Her strategic timing has also been flawless with getting rid of Kishan when she was listed as a decoy vote and knowing when to dispose of Rome when he became too much of a wild card. But now that they’re both gone, she needs to find a solid alliance to keep herself going, because she can easily be seen as a major threat physically and strategically, and could make another splashy move.
2. Sam Phalen
Sam has been a huge presence in this game, and has seemed to have molded himself well in this merge so far. He has an established duo with Sierra and is on the verge of being in a secure spot in this game after vehemently shutting down any chatter of him and Sierra being tight at the hip as they are. The only hit against him right now is that he may be perceived as the source of throwing Andy’s name as a backup in the last vote – despite it being Sue’s idea – specifically to Sol, who could relay it back to Andy, which would cause trouble.
1. Sue Smey
That brings us to our final contender and what looks to be the most comfortable player in the game at this point. Despite her slip-ups that included the whole tribe discovering her red paint that was a part of her idol find, Sue has strong allies in Caroline and Gabe to have her back going forward. Not to mention her idol is valid until the Final 5, so there is potential for her to put it to good use. Her consistent strategic relationships as well as her personal moments indicate longevity for the oldest player on the season at 59 years old and if she were to win, she would become the oldest winner in “Survivor” history.
