‘Survivor 47’ preview: Genevieve Mushaluk is a ‘terrible liar’ who has a ‘passion for problem-solving’ [WATCH]
“Survivor 47” fans, it’s time to meet Genevieve Mushaluk, a 33-year-old corporate lawyer from Winnipeg, Manitoba. “The problem is, I’m a terrible liar, so I’m going to be really, really grateful if I’m here on day four,” she says with a nervous chuckle in CBS’s preview video. Watch Genevieve’s intro above at the 8:12 mark.
Going into detail about her day job, she notes, “I am a corporate lawyer, which means my phone is going off all the time. Life is busy and chaotic and complicated and stressful. But I love it. It’s not that I have a passion for the law, I really don’t. But I have a passion for problem-solving and for people, and so that’s going to help me out here.”

Genevieve then confirms, “I will absolutely not be telling people that I am a lawyer. Post-45, hell no. Three out of the Final 6 were lawyers. There’s no way that I can tell people I’m a lawyer or they’ll be like, okay, nice to meet you, bye.”
Finally, she reveals, “I gotta be really careful about who I show the inner-workings of my mind to. I’m gonna win, and win unanimously, with no one ever voting for me throughout the whole game. And anything less than that will be a complete failure.”

The 47th season of “Survivor” will premiere on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 with a two-hour episode, followed by 90-minute episodes thereafter.
