‘Survivor 47’ preview: Tiyana Hallums is ‘going to be cutting throats’ on the island [WATCH]

“Survivor 47” fans, it’s time to meet Tiyana Hallums, a 27-year-old flight attendant from Aiea, Hawaii. “When you hear Hawaii, you think vibe, go with the flow,” she begins in CBS’s preview video. “But in reality, I’m going to be cutting throats. I’m hoping they think I’m just here for a fun little ride, but they have no idea what’s lurking under the surface.” Watch Tiyana’s intro above at the 14:19 mark.

Tiyana adds, “I’m constantly seeing where I can grow and evolve as a human being. I was a division one college athlete, got my masters in educational leadership in policy, and I am a flight attendant for Hawaiian Airlines. But I do want to become a pilot. Winning that million dollars is going to help a lot with pilot school.”

She was originally an alternate on Season 45, in which Hannah Rose and Sean Edwards both threw in the towel. “I was obviously pissed,” the castaway readily admits. “However, looking back on it, I’m so grateful that Hannah stuck it out for those two extra days. And I know that things are going to work out the way they’re meant to work out.”

In her flight attendant voice, Tiyana states with a smile, “We will be deplaning shortly, aka Jeff snuffing your torch … It was not personal, we still love you anyway.”
