Sydney Sweeney Wears Two Striking Miu Miu Ensembles for Her 2024 Met Gala Red Carpet and After Party Looks
Sydney Sweeney fashioned two bold looks for the 2024 Met Gala on Monday night. The “Immaculate” actress and producer showed off her dramatic black bob and wore a dazzling gown with floral embellishments for the Met Gala red carpet and a brown triangle top with black beading for an after party. Both looks were by Miu Miu.
Sweeney’s red carpet look for the 2024 Met Gala featured a dazzling display of intricately designed florals over a baby blue ball gown with tulle skirt and massive train. The custom gown featured off-the-shoulder sheer straps. The actress wore a glittering statement necklace with the look and fashioned a pair of black opera gloves as well.

Before the end of the night, Sweeney changed into her second look. The actress wore a brown, triangle top with black beading in an ornately designed floral pattern. The actress paired the Miu Miu top with a low-rise brown midi skirt with a black belt. She completed the look with a pair of pointed toe black heels.
For her 2024 Met Gala glam, Sweeney’s hair was styled by Glen Oropeza, while her makeup, which featured a dramatic eye and soft lip, was done by Melissa Hernandez. Both Sweeney’s Met Gala red carpet and after party looks were curated by stylist Molly Dickson, who was assisted by Clarke Johnson and Jenna Filingeri.
Sweeney has worn designs by Miu Miu in the very recent past. For a May 2 press conference in Mexico City for “Immaculate,” Sweeney fashioned an edgy little black dress with hip exposures from the fashion label’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection.
The Met Gala raises funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and celebrates the Costume Institute’s annual exhibits. This year’s theme, “The Garden of Time,” was a nod to the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit, which will open to the public on Friday. The 2024 event was cochaired by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth and Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour.
