The boss is back. Tulsa King, the hit drama from Sylvester Stallone and Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, is returning for a second season and it promises to be just as juicy as the original outing.

Centered on mafioso Dwight "The General" Manfredi (Stallone), the first season followed the rise of the East Coast mobster's burgeoning criminal empire after he was exiled by his cohorts to Oklahoma following a 25 year prison stint. The series won fans over in its first chapter with a mix of action, criminal scheming, and fish-out-of-water charm, and was swiftly picked up for a second outing.

Season two promises to pick up where the drama left off. Per the official synopsis, "In season two, Dwight (Stallone) and his crew continue to build up and defend their growing empire in Tulsa but, just as they get their bearings, they realize that they’re not the only ones who want to stake their claim. With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs. Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York."

Most of the cast from the first season are expected to return, including Martin Starr and Jay Will as Dwight's partners in crime, Bodhi and Max, Tatiana Zappardino as Dwight's estranged daughter Tina, and Dana Delany as rancher (and possible love interest) Margaret Devereaux. Newcomers to the season include Neal McDonough and Rich Ting.

Streaming

As with most of Sheridan's slate of shows, Tulsa King is exclusive to Paramount+. New episodes—10 in total—will hit the service on Sundays, staring with the season two premiere on September 15, 2024.
