Sylvester Stallone's ties to Palm Beach County: 5 things to know about celebrity

Word came Wednesday that Sylvester Stallone's wife Jennifer Flavin had filed for divorce.

The Academy Award-nominated Hollywood icon is a Palm Beach resident, thanks to an estate he and Flavin bought in December 2020. The Palm Beach Daily News broke the story of the Stallone's $35.38 million purchase, which they made through the Southpaw Trust, a name that likely nods at Stallone — and Rocky — being left-handed.

Flavin, an entrepreneur and former model, is seeking exclusive use of the Palm Beach estate while the divorce proceedings are pending, court records show.

With estate is owned by a trust, it is unclear how things will be divvied up once the divorce is final.
