T.I. has accomplished a lot in his lengthy rap career and is ready to ride off into the sunset. The Atlanta rapper recently revealed that his final album will be a double album with NBA YoungBoy featured on the lead single.

The 43-year-old artist made the announcement on the We In Miami podcast on Monday (Oct. 16). “It’s time to evolve beyond a career as a rapper,” he told the hosts before showing love to everyone who is “carrying the torch and pushing the culture forward.”

TIP revealed that his final album will be titled Kill The King and the B-Side will be titled Kiss The King. As for the track with YoungBoy, the ATL actor stated that the song would be something neither of their fans would expect from them.

While T.I. announcing his final album may be bittersweet, he had another project to answer for in the form of his collaborative project with Boosie Badazz. The project was initially announced in September 2022, but the duo’s relationship became tense after Boosie canceled the project and called his collaborator a “snitch.” They eventually let bygones be bygones, per the two being spotted together this past April, but the project still has yet to come out.

“The time that we had allotted for it we kinda passed by it,” TIP said. “It was ready, we got the records. It’s so much that goes into releasing a record besides just releasing a record.”

While he acknowledged that they “missed their window,” he didn’t completely rule out the possibility of it happening at a later date. “Not saying that the window can’t present itself again,” the father of six said. “We have a very healthy relationship.”

Kill The King will mark T.I.’s first album since 2020’s The L.I.B.R.A. The 20-song LP featured 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Killer Mike, Jeremih, and more. He has been on an active feature run in 2023, linking up with artists like Trae Tha Truth, Jay Burna, DJ Drama, Wiz Khalifa, Symba, Curren$y, Jermaine Dupri and more. Listen to The L.I.B.R.A. below.
