T’Kor Clottey (‘Big Brother 26’) exit interview: ‘I had a good social game,’ but ‘Rubina has a unique ability to touch people’
Week 9 in the “Big Brother” house ended Thursday night, with T’Kor Clottey going from “Jankie World” to the jury house. Under Leah Peters‘ reign as Head of Household, T’Kor was ousted in a 4-1 eviction vote over Rubina Bernabe. The 23-year-old crochet business owner from Atlanta, Georgia became the ninth houseguest evicted from Season 26 and the second member of the jury.
T’Kor could feel the energy shifting in the house, and during her exit interview with host Julie Chen Moonves she stated, “I majored in sociology. I’m very good at reading people. I just have innate intuition of just knowing sometimes. I saw it coming for sure.”

T’Kor managed to avoid the block this whole season until now, so why did she suddenly become a target? “It could be multiple reasons,” she explained. “Maybe one, people always told me that I had a good social game. Maybe they might have seen it as a deterrent in the future. But, I also think Rubina has a very unique ability to touch people. I know that resonated with the other houseguests as well.” T’kor, Rubina and Kimo Apaka were a trio. Had T’Kor won the Veto, who would she have saved? “I would have saved Kimo in the hopes that I could have garnered the votes to keep Rubina safe as well,” she admitted.
In Week 6, T’Kor was HOH and targeted Angela Murray, who is still in the house. She put up Tucker Des Lauriers as a pawn, and he ended up going home. Was that a mistake? “I don’t know if it was a mistake,” she pondered. “I know that everything happens for a reason. Ultimately, Rubina and Kimo’s games will further develop not having such a huge target aligned with them. I felt content with my decision at the time. I don’t regret anything.”
As T’Kor watched goodbye messages from her fellow houseguests, she burst into tears. “I love them so much. Every single one of them. They’re just amazing human beings. One thing I said that I really wanted when I came into this house was to make friends and I really was able to do that. I feel really grateful being able to reflect and see all of that.” Her final thoughts? “Thank you so much for this incredible experience. It was more than I could have ever imagined. I’m so grateful. I’m so happy that I’ll be able to be a part of making the decision of who’s gonna win and represent Season 26. This has been an incredible season!”
