Tamar Braxton’s Ex-Husband Jeremy Robinson Addresses Accusations Of Him Cheating At Hotel
Tamar Braxton and Jeremy “JR” Robinson’s on-and-off relationship seems to be off again as she’s now accused him of using her credit card on another woman at a hotel. However, Robinson has disputed her claims, saying that it was a card mix-up.
A month after splurging on the lawyer for his birthday with a diamond-encrusted pendant and other gifts, Tamar took to social media claiming to be “single and sad.” On Wednesday (Sept. 4), the 47-year-old took to her Instagram Live calling out JR for allegedly pursuing a 25-year-old “tramp.”
In response, JR called Tamar “delusional” and also blamed her allegations on her “anxiety.” He also declared that he’s been single for the last six months and was focused on repairing his friendship with Tamar. He shared that he also established some boundaries with the “Wait A Minute” singer that include being physically and emotionally unavailable to her.
In her live she revealed alleged receipts of an unauthorized charge on her card from a Four Seasons in New Orleans. She then showed a screenshot of the transaction dated Aug. 30 in the total amount of $1,151.26. When confronting him, Tamar alleged that JR gave her attitude and reiterated to her that they have an “understanding as friends.”
“We cool. No, we don’t go together; that is very clear, you know, but we have an understanding of our friendship,” she mimicked him. She also shared that a hotel staff told her that the room reservation was listed under “Mr. Jeremy Robinson and his guest Ms. Jay.”
She added, “Now I don’t know what y’all want me to do with that. ‘Cause when I had asked him about it, you get nasty with me and tell me, go take your meds.”
JR claimed that he was not at the hotel with another woman but was in town for a funeral. He claimed that he used her card in a “mix-up” when making his reservation because their cards end in the “same three digits.”
The New Orleans native also shared that the hotel had already resolved the card mishap before Tamar involved a “random woman,” that he claimed he recently followed on Instagram.
As far as his passing birthday, he explained that he invited Tamar to celebrate in Turks, but declared that he accepted her birthday gifts as a “friendly gesture” and not a reconciliation. The injury attorney expressed that he told her he “wants to be friends” and has not led her on.
Following Tamar’s Live, he said, “You don’t just go on social media and start attacking somebody that you claim you love, that you care for as a friend. Then you post pictures of you and my daughters together, but then you’re throwing their dad under the bus. It’s not cool.”
He claimed for the umpteenth that their relationship is “done” as well as their friendship.
The woman who Tamar has alleged JR of being with spoke out in the comment section of a repost of Tamar’s Live, saying, “There is no tea here. There is no truth to this. These allegations are absolutely insane and have consequences. Tamar you are WRONG!”
JR also added in a video that Tamar could face “defamation potential” for name-dropping the woman’s Instagram handle.
