Tamra Judge Defends Teddi Mellencamp Against "Thirsty" Vicki Gunvalson (EXCLUSIVE)

There are a lot of complicated dynamics in the world of The Real Housewives  across franchises even! Case in point: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's longstanding feud with The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Vicki Gunvalson. While the two haven't exactly seen eye-to-eye in recent years, their dynamic only got more tense on Season 18, Episode 8 of RHOC.

During the August 29 episode, Teddi made an appearance when Tamra Judge put on a The Traitors-themed game night and invited her friend — and Two T's In a Pod podcast co-host — to lead the festivities.

"Welcome Housewives ... and Vicki," Teddi said to kick off the evening. Needless to say, the original cast member was not pleased.

Tamra then shared more details on the uncomfortable moment during an interview at Bravo Headquarters on August 15 (which you can check out in the above video).

"That just kind of slipped out of [Teddi's] mouth," she said of the insult. "She tries to blame me for it but I'm not the one who told her to say it. Her and Vicki have had this long feud going on."

Have Teddi and Vicki managed to reconcile in the months since, though? "I don't think there's [a relationship right now]. I think Vicki continues to just trash her," Tamra alleged. "She's just thirsty, as far as I'm concerned. Vicki's been nothing but horrible to her for no reason. She doesn't even know her. So she thought it was a good idea to just stick it to her."

The RHOC Cast Reacts to Teddi Mellencamp's Dissing Vicki Gunvalson

After Teddi made the comment heard 'round the Bravoverse, those who knew Vicki were quick to react — both in real time and in the video above.

"That's rude," noted Heather Dubrow during the episode.

Gina Kirschenheiter also noted in the clip above that the comment "definitely was not funny in the moment, and Victoria was not feeling that."

Added Jennifer Pedranti, "I couldn't believe it. I was like, 'Wait, Teddi knows Vicki's standing right there.'"

Shannon Storms Beador, meanwhile, said that if fans were to look at her during the episode, they'd see her rolling her eyes. "I didn't think it was very nice," she added. "The two of them have this beef with each other. When someone starts it off this way, how can it end well?"

Why was Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave on RHOC?

Unsurprisingly, Teddi's appearance was all Tamra's idea. "Unfortunately, my experience on the show The Traitors was too short, so I want to have a Traitors experience for all the girls and maybe for me to relive it a little bit," Tamra explained in a confessional. "I figured that Teddi would be the best host, like Alan Cumming."

One person that wasn't super excited to see her? Vicki of course.

"That's Tamra's minion," she said in an interview after Teddi arrived. "Teddi can go kiss my ass."
