Taraji P. Henson Goes Monochrome in Corset-style Dress With Kevin Hart for NBC Upfront Presentation

Taraji P. Henson attended the NBC Upfront presentation at Radio City Music Hall in New York on Monday fashioning a monochrome look with a splash of color. The Oscar-nominated actress was joined onstage by Kevin Hart during the presentation.

For the event, Henson wore a mocha-hued dress with a coordinated trenchcoat. The dress featured a corset-style top, with exposed boning and a defined bustline. The dress and trenchcoat also featured subtle, pinstripe lines. Henson opted to wear the coat over her shoulders.

Along with her monochrome look, Henson added a pop of color with luxe mirrored gold heels by Maison Ernest. The mirrored mules featured a stiletto heel and pointed-toe design. Henson continued her metallic accessories with a pair of hoop earrings and sparkling sunglasses.

Henson has been making a number of public appearances as of late, fashioning unique looks that speak to the actress’ individual style sensibility. “The Color Purple” star recently attended the 2024 Met Gala on May 6, for which she wore an ornate custom design by Jonathan Simkhai with jewelry by Buccellati and shoes courtesy of Christian Louboutin.

On another occasion, Henson fashioned a floral Del Core gown for the 2024 NAACP Images Awards on Thursday. The gown came courtesy of the fashion house’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection, and featured 3D detailing, which was adorned with small crystals and shaped organically around Henson’s bust line and waist.

Henson has a penchant for making a statement with her fashion. The actress can seamlessly transition from muted, natural tones to vibrant hues and avant-garde designs. Her latest look at the NBC Upfront showcased the actress’ versatility when it comes to fashion, and her ability to add a pop of color and flair to her wardrobe.
