Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has officially entered her tennis era.

On Sunday, September 8, the “All Too Well Ten-Minute Version (Taylor’s Version)” singer stepped out with her boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, to watch the Men’s U.S. Open finals match between Jannik Sinner (Italy) and Taylor Fritz (United States of America).

The beloved celebrity couple was also spotted with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes and the Haim Sisters, all of whom are close friends of the pair.

While at the match, Swift and Kelce could be found cozying up with one another, singing, dancing and enjoying the venue's signature cocktail, The Honey Deuce.

Swift's return to the U.S. Open was a historic one –  before the singer made it big, she performed “God Bless America” at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in 2002 — one year before her self-titled album Taylor Swift (or debut) was released.

This was also Swift's first time as a spectator at the U.S. Open.

All about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's hectic weekend

Swift and Kelce’s outing to the Open was one of their many public outings over the September 7 weekend.

On Thursday, September 5, Kelce and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs had their first regular season game. The team faced off against the Baltimore Ravens and beat them 27 to 20. Swift attended the game in jean shorts, a jean crop top and thigh-high red boots — which fans were quick to point out looked like the ones the singer wore in the “Look What You Made Me Do” music video back in 2017, leading them to believe it was an “easter egg” for Reputation (Taylor's Version).

The couple left the game hand in hand together, with pictures of them celebrating Kelce’s win flooding social media all night.

Then, the 34-year-olds were spotted enjoying a night out in Brooklyn, New York, on Friday. The two went to dinner at fan-favorite pizza restaurant Lucali and reportedly “seemed very happy together.”

On Saturday, the “August” singer and her Super Bowl-winning boyfriend got dressed up for a night on the town. They were spotted out in Manhattan, New York, on their way to Electric Lady Studios owner Lee Foster and model Karen Elson's wedding. Electric Lady Studios is where Swift has recorded all of her albums since 2019.

Sunday marked Swift and Kelce’s appearance at the U.S. Open, which was followed by another night out in New York City. The singer wore one of Kelce’s favorite brands, Gucci, and the football star wore a black-and-white look.

What’s next for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce?

Swift is expected to appear at the Video Music Awards (VMA) on Wednesday, September 11. She is nominated in 12 different categories, including Video of the Year for her and Post Malone's “Fortnight” and Artist of the Year.

Swift did attend the VMAs in 2023 and 2022, and at the 2022 show the singer announced her ninth studio album, Midnights.

It is unclear if Kelce will be attending the VMAs with Swift, but based on the couple’s recent outings and the fact that his next game isn’t until Sunday, September 22, it is safe to say most likely.
