Taylor Swift Has the Best Reaction to Her BFF Abigail Anderson Berard’s Big Announcement Using Her Lyrics
Taylor Swift's longtime best friend, Abigail Anderson Berard, is getting ready to welcome a new member to her growing family!
Berard took to Instagram on the evening of Wednesday, July 24 to reveal that she's expecting her first child, channeling the Eras Tour artist in her public pregnancy announcement—and the auntie-to-be clearly couldn't be more excited.
Alongside a photo of her standing in a black button-up blouse — which was mostly unbuttoned to reveal her baby bump — as she snacked on a box of Cheez-Its, Berard quoted one of her BFF's tracks off of her latest album The Tortured Poets Department: "But Daddy I Love Him."
"I’m having his babyyyy… ??," she wrote in the caption, possibly hinting at the baby's gender with a blue heart emoji.
Swift and "red-headed Abigail" have been friends since their first day of freshman year at Hendersonville High School, as the singer documents in her Fearless track, "Fifteen," and she can be seen in several of the singer's music videos, including, of course, "Fifteen," as well as the scripted "Picture to Burn" and the home-footage-filled "I'm Only Me When I'm With You," so, naturally, her fans were quick to show their support for Berard, flooding the comments on her big reveal with well wishes and congratulations, with one jokingly continuing the lyrics by writing, "OH MY GOD YOU SHOULD SEE OUR FACES" and others joking that the singer was "re-entering her auntie tay era."
Swift even jumped into the comments herself, replying, "When the internet says ‘MOTHER’ I feel like this pic is actually what they mean," leading fans to agree, "mother do be mothering ???????."
Berard currently serves as the Chief of Staff, Corporate Development at Celero Commerce, an "industry-leading payment processing partner offering high-tech high-touch experiences for our partners and merchants," according to their website, and married her husband, Charles Berard, in the fall of 2022. It's unknown if Swift was in attendance, though the "You Are In Love" songstress served as a bridesmaid in Berard's first wedding to Matt Lucier.
