Taylor Swift Continues Her Corset Era With a Vivienne Westwood Dress That Colors Outside the Lines
Taylor Swift is in her corset era. The music star opted for another corseted look by Vivienne Westwood last night when she stepped out for dinner with Zo? Kravitz at NYC’s new private members club Chez Margaux.
This time Swift wore a paint-splashed tea-length dress with strokes of red and yellow at the corset. She paired the off-the-shoulder frock with Vivienne Westwood’s Granny Frame purse and Aquazzura’s velvet Twist 95 sandals with a trumpet heel.

Swift has been favoring looks by Vivienne Westwood in recent months. In October she suited up in a tartan corset and miniskirt from the label’s fall 2024 collection when she attended her third NFL game of the season in support of her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. Swift accessorized the matching set with a Cartier necklace, Jacquie Aiche bracelets, Effy Jewelry rings, and glittery Fazit freckles.
In July, Swift wore Vivienne Westwood’s powder blue Sunday dress, which she layered over a tartan corset and paired with buttery peep-toe platforms, while on a double date with Kelce, Brittany and Patrick Mahomes.
Swift also showed her love for Vivienne Westwood’s designs during her Eras Tour, where she wore a custom gown by the label that featured a voluminous skirt printed with lyrics from “Fortnight.” The corseted dress was unveiled during the European leg of Swift’s Eras tour.
Meanwhile corsets have also been in heavy rotation for Swift this year. The singer and songwriter wore another tartan plaid corset in September when she attended the MTV Video Music Awards. For the occasion, Swift wore a plaid printed Christian Dior gown from the label’s resort 2025 collection with strappy leather gloves and thigh-high Stuart Weitzman boots.
Last month Swift wore another corset: a monogrammed Gucci top that she paired with a leather RTA pleated miniskirt, a black Dior Saddle Bag, a camel double-breasted Ralph Lauren coat, and ankle boots by Louis Vuitton.
Corsets have been especially trending over the past year, since they emerged as a breakout theme from the fall 2023 Paris couture runways. For the season, designers like Daniel Roseberry of Schiaparelli, Thom Browne, Elie Saab and Mohammed Ashi, to name a few, reworked the corset while paying homage to Jean Paul Gaultier.
