'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' movie is coming: 6 memorable moments from her record-breaking tour

Taylor Swift is about to make box office history — and it sure looks like many Swifties are along for the ride.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which hits theaters on Friday, will likely set a record global opening for a concert film raking in upwards of $150 million, according to early projections. While the title speaks for itself, not too much is known about what will make the cut in the nearly three-hour flick, which was filmed during her L.A. shows. (Swift's actual concert ran for almost three-and-a-half hours.)

If you were caught on the wrong side of the Ticketmaster debacle when tickets for the "Eras Tour" were released, the movie is sure to be a great chance for fans to see what the magic was all about. In honor of The Eras Tour movie, here are six of the most notable moments from her record-breaking tour.

The 22 hat giveaway

During Swift's hit song "22" (from the Red era) it became a tradition for the Grammy winner to give away her black fedora hat to someone in the audience. Typically, a VIP-type of guest. Selena Gomez's 10-year-old sister, Gracie, was one of the lucky recipients as was Bianka Bryant, daughter of Kobe Bryant. The Lakers legend joined Swift onstage in 2015 during her "1989" tour where he presented her with a banner for setting the record for most sold out shows at the Staples Center (now the Cyrpto.com Arena).

"I Can See You" music video drops with Taylor Lautner, Joey King and Presley Cash

The song is one of the vault tracks from Speak Now (Taylor's Version) that became a radio hit and charted on Billboard Hot 100. During her stop in Kansas City, Swift debuted the music video where she invited Lautner, King and Cash to appear onstage. The group goes way back.

King and Cash both starred in Swift's music video for "Mean" in 2011. Lautner briefly dated Swift and inspired her track, "Back to December." On stage at the "Eras Tour" in Kansas City, Lautner did a backflip, which is a nod to their scene in the 2010 film Valentine's Day. Lautner and Swift remained friends after their brief romance. "He and his wife have become some of my closest friends, and it's very convenient because we all share the same first name," Swift said during the video announcement.

Guest stars galore

Those weren't Swift's only famous pals to make a cameo at the "Eras Tour." Occasionally, Swift brought out some of her star-studded friends for special guest appearances. Ice Spice and Swift performed the remix of "Karma" to close out her third sold out show at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium. Marcus Mumford hopped onstage in Las Vegas to perform "Cowboy Like Me." In Seattle, the singer invited Haim as they performed "No Body, No Crime" off Evermore. The Haim sisters, who also happen to be three of Swift's BFFs, were one of the opening acts for a portion of the U.S. leg of the tour.

The fan-quake

Speaking of Seattle, Swifties created such a ruckus at the show that they caused a localized earthquake of approximately 2.3 magnitude on the Richter scale.

Swift changes up the set list (and hints at Joe Alwyn split)

Not much gets by Swifties. At her concert in Arlington, Texas, just four shows into the tour, Swift removed the track "Invisible String," which is believed to be about Alwyn. She ultimately replaced it with "The 1." One week later, the world learned she and the British actor split after six years of dating. Another clue that things were on the rocks? Swift burned down the Lover house at the end of the opening era.

Surprise Songs

At every tour stop, the audience was gifted two surprise songs during Swift's 44-song set list. The highly-anticipated moment came when Swift sat down during the acoustic portion of the show. Swift's concert film, compiled from several Swift shows at L.A.'s SoFi Stadium, featured surprise songs like "I Can See You," "Maroon," "Our Song," "You Are in Love," "Death by a Thousand Cuts" and "You're on Your Own, Kid."
