It's not uncommon for Swifties to speak out when Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce is insulted by another celebrity—but even non-fans are calling out Tony Hinchcliffe for the comments he made about the couple at a Donald Trump rally on Sunday, Oct. 27.

The comedian is facing serious backlash for his series of highly controversial remarks, which included an unexpected comparison between Kelce and the late O.J. Simpson.

"So many great athletes. I don't know about you guys, but I think that Travis Kelce might be the next O.J. Simpson," he said. "Feels good in here. The other side's got a lot of crazy endorsements. Swift, Eminem, Leo DiCaprioBeyoncé. Every day, the Democratic party looks more and more like a P. Diddy party."

Hinchcliffe continued, pointing out a Black man in the audience and joking that the two of them attended a Halloween party the night before.

"We carved watermelons together," he said.

"tf kind of hatred do you have to have for travis to call him the next OJ???" someone else wanted to know.

"He’s so cringe! I can’t believe He’s a comedian," commented a fourth person.

"Oh, he doesn't know what he's playing with. Went too far about a guy who's 6'5 230lbs and VERY protective of his girl," an additional social media user pointed out.

According to TIME, the Trump campaign issued a statement attributed to senior adviser Danielle Alvarez on Monday saying that Hinchcliffe's jokes "do not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign.”

Hinchcliffe also took aim at Latinos in his set, calling Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage."

"These Latinos, they love making babies too," he added. "Just know that. They do. They do. There’s no pulling out. They don’t do that. They come inside. Just like they did to our country."
