Taylor Swift Fans Suspect They Know Exactly Why Travis Kelce Looked So ‘Happy’ at Chiefs Preseason Game

After new images of Travis Kelce surfaced where he appears jolly and smiling from ear to ear, fans of his girlfriend Taylor Swift believe they have an inkling as to why he looks especially joyful.

Photos posted by a Kelce fan account to X on Thursday, Aug. 22 show the Kansas City Chiefs tight end looking up donning a wide smile, alongside another capture of him looking over to his side.

The NFL star was decked out in his squad's attire, of course—a deep red corduroy hat baring the team name along with a matching hoodie.

"All smiles on the sideline!" the duo of pictures was captioned.

But as always, Swifties found a way to somehow link his disposition back to the pop star, suggesting that the three-time Super Bowl champ is so "happy" due to his lady being "back" from her international tour.

"Taylor is back , that is why he is happy," one fan assumed of the snapshots.

The "Lavender Haze" singer recently wrapped up the European leg of the record-breaking concert series, which won't resume until Oct. 2024. During the hiatus, she is expected to be spotted spending much more time with her beau again, and fans can't wait to see her in the stands of his football games this season.

Earlier this week, it was rumored that the "Cruel Summer" singer may have even tried to appear at the last preseason game, which took place on Thursday, Aug. 22. However, with Kelce and the rest of the starting lineup not taking the field that evening, it is now presumed the pop star will wait until the official season's kickoff on Sept. 5, 2024, to make her supportive return, when they face off against the Baltimore Ravens at their home turf of Arrowhead Stadium.
